About Me
- Live Fit Foodie Queen
- Hi! Welcome to my blog. I'm a fitness devotee and food fanatic! I have the biggest sweet tooth on this Earth! However, as much as I wish I can drown myself in a snicker doodle cupcake, my body just isn't that forgiving. I am a professional model, and beauty queen (hence the foodie queen, hehe) who recently graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Because of the industry I'm in, you can only imagine the type of diets I've been on. It has affected my body incredibly which has led me to discovering "Clean Eating". Thanks to Jamie Eason, I have seen the results people have had with her Livefit trainer so I decided to do the program and start a blog to share my journey and encourage others to live a clean and healthy lifestyle!

Fajita night
Needed something other than chicken and turkey tonight so decided to do steak fajita. I used top sirloin (is on Jamie's approved food list), some frozen veggies and onions. Added se braggs amino acid and voila you got a meal! I ate it with lettuce. Everyone else had corn tortillas. Yumm
This was so good and super quick and easy to make! I think I e found my new live for cooking. I guess if the modeling doesn't work out.... I could always be a chef!!! HahH

Day 18 & Muscle Soreness
Today was leg day again. Considering the fact that my legs were still sore from Monday, I felt pretty good! Am I the only person who actually gets happy that I am sore?? I love knowing that I trained hard enough that my muscles need to rebuild themselves and will grow. The soreness is actually called DOMS. Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness.
DOMS is caused by tiny microscopic tears that occur in the muscle as a result of high intensity exercise (such as weight training, intense cycling, etc). After the workout, the muscle begins to rebuild itself (provided it is allowed enough time and nutrients to recover). This is the rebuilding process which creates new muscle that is bigger and stronger than before. In other words, your muscles are growing. Your muscles grow when you are at rest – not when you’re at the gym.
Remember that we must always shock are bodies so that we can constantly be gaining muscle growth and that soreness....... will be back!!!

Day 17
Good Morning Dolls!! I'm here at a catalog shoot waiting to do my hair and make-up. Decided to write a little on the blog to update you of what's going on. Since I knew I was gonna be shooting all day, I decided to go to the gym at 5am. Today was chest and triceps. The gym was pretty empty and I loved it. I used to go at 5am everyday but I've been so busy lately that I haven't had energy to get up! But boy am I glad I did today. I really miss it and I think I may have to start going back once phase 2 starts.
Here are some pictures of everyone getting ready

Day 16 of LiveFit Trainer
Today I did back and biceps at the gym. I felt very good. I did weigh myself this morning and have not dropped any weight, however I do feel my clothes less tight so I could be losing inches. I am not really scared since I've spoken to a lot of you who have done the trainer and didn't see any changes in PHASE 1. I'm excited to get started with Phase 2.
Here was my workout. I did it in about 30 minutes.

Healthy Treat
I just made these amazing Almond Biscotti's!! Mainly I decided to do them for my mom. She isn't very fond of egg whites and oatmeal, and she's been asking me for alternatives. I then came across the recipe for these and made them for her! They are delish!
I told her to have them for breakfast with her cafe au lait and some cottage cheese for protein. This is a great away to change up your breakfast at times and also they are great for that moment when you just crave something sweet! They only have 31 calories and 4g of carbs, 1.5 protein.
Another option is to have a coffee with some almond milk with the biscotti 3-4 egg whites with 1/2 berries or grapefruit.
Hope you enjoy!

Day 15 of LiveFit Trainer & Weekend Talk
Hey Dolls!!
How was everyone's weekend?? Mine was crazy as usual! Working nonstop and tons of family parties.
Which put me in situations where I could have chosen to eat bad... but I didn't! I was surrounded by cake, chips, fried foods, etc but I choose to eat my own food. Which brings me to my next question....have you ever been judged by friends or families on your lifestyle? I have!
My family always thinks I'm crazy because I go to a family gathering and never eat the food served. My friends look at me weird when I bring food to a party or a restaurant. I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with this. I choose to live a clean, healthy life. I love how my body feels when I fuel it with good food. I go to places to spend time with the one's I love! It isn't about the food or drinks; it's about wanting to spend some quality time with my friends and family. Don't ever worry about what other's may think or say about you. At the end of the day, it's your body! If you choose to live a healthy lifestyle those around you may find it weird at first but they love you and will understand that it's your choice!
I would love to hear your stories!!
Here was my leg workout for Day 15.
It's getting tougher now that I am in the building stage! I don't think I've mastered the single-leg barbell deadlift yet but I am getting there. The lunges really had me sweating which I loved!
